City in the Dark 夜盲遊人

‘My night sight is getting worse; things are blurry and scattered. I always question how far off what I see is from the reality—just like the city, things are glossed over and erased, and night falls as usual. Before my pupils adapt to the darkness, I wish to capture and document this place before she turns unfamiliar.’

「我的夜盲好像越發加劇，黑夜的物像矇矓分散。我經常會問自己到底眼睛所見的與真實所見的距離有多大—— 就像這城，一切被粉飾、一切被肆意刪除後，黑夜又如常降臨。在瞳孔習慣了漆黑前，希望自己能捕捉這個地方的還是熟悉的感覺。」

Those moment in the darkness, you rely heavily on the familiarity to counteract the fear from those phantoms – they may be from your imaginations, some of them maybe real, some of them are soft and kind. And in those moment stranded in the highway leading you to nowhere, the scattered and gathered lights will drive my mind home.
