This artwork on wood goes beyond a general urban landscape painting. It is a personal journey of rediscovering the light within us, inspired by the blackout night in Northwest New Territories. As I stood in the darkness, I felt the possession of light return to the hands of nature in thunder, reflection, and obscurity. The memory of my father gathering rainwater in his childhood countryside home flooded my mind, and I imagined us gathering light for the darker times.
